Hi! I'm a creative, new to Chicago.
My name is M'Elena and I'm interested in projects focused on experiential design. My strengths include art direction, user interfaces, concept development, and visual design. I'm looking to join upbeat teams that offer a mix of hustle, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and mentoring opportunities.
I have six years of experience contracting at agencies, start-ups, and in-house brand and marketing teams across Austin and Seattle. Career highlights include art direction for T-Mobile and Microsoft accounts, visual design / user experience at Getty Images, and user interfaces / environmental branding at Dell. I've also spent the last four years fostering design communities within the office and volunteering at non-profit organizations.

I've got an energetic personality and enjoy spending my free time socializing. I like to participate in organized activities and leagues of all types from performing in karaoke competitions, exploring new cities and the outdoors thru geocaching, leading an intramural kickball team as captain, to drafting Magic cards. If I sound like a good fit for your team, please reach out!
